There may be times you want to cry

when life gives you some trials,

but don't despair, there's a sky of blue,

to turn your frowns to smiles.

There will be tears, for this is life,

but don't let it get you down.

Just pray to our Lord and Master,

He'll turn everything around.

Sadness comes unwanted.

Happiness, with open arms.

So box up all your troubles,

put on your magic charms.

You'll then feel so much better

when those smiles start shining through.

So throw away that frown you had,

then start your day anew.

And when the days seem black

and there's nothing to live for,

just look above and say a prayer,

God's standing at His door.

A smile is very cheap to get,

not a penny does it cost.

Just remember these few words I say,

whenever you feel lost.

Now when I pass someone I see,

I'll look at them and grin.

And when they smile back at me,

I’ll know I passed it on to them.

'Cause a smile can travel 'round the earth,

so don't leave it undetected.

Let's share that smile with everyone

and get the whole world infected!
